Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day, Federal Day last year
Fourth Thursday in November.
My sweet heart, Darling, My Dear
We first met, do you remember?
That was a great grandeur party,
So pretty, so nice you looked.
I was enchanted with your beauty,
Eyes mesmerized, passion shook.
The Party proceeded in a garden.
Restless breeze ceased to flow.
You appeared all on a sudden.
Your charm stole the show.
This year November twenty-fourth
Our desirable Thanksgiving Day.
Our engagement to announce henceforth.
For God’s blessing, we will pray.
Just wait for a year, sweet heart, my darling
Next Thanksgiving Day we are sure to choose,
as the auspicious day of wedding,
giving thanks for singularity to lose.
