Thank You Lord
Lord when my days seem so dreary
And fill with sadness,
The tears seem to swell without a
Cause
Lord when the tears fill my eye as
I sleep,
From the grief I strife that seems
To wonder into my life each day
If my heart forget’s to say “thank
You Lord”
In the time of the morning coming
Its so funny how strife just walk in
To your life..
Lord forgive this old crying eyes
For they are looking for a happy
Star..
Forgive this old aging heart that
Sometime forgets...
For it is looking for that beautiful
Soul that put me on the “Highway
To Heaven”
Forgive me lord for all my mistakes
For you know I am only human
Wishing I could master the art of
Being perfect..
