Thank You God For Love
THANK YOU GOD FOR LOVE
My love has come to stay
In my heart forever more
And has taken most of my pain away
Making me happier than I've ever been before
He need not say a word at all
To make a smile come upon my face
Looking in his eyes I can't help but fall
It seems with him everything is in place
A future that used to look dire
And destined for nothing but heartache
Has become something to desire;
A love with passion and a bond to never break
His every touch sends me to cloud nine
Every kiss is like the first one
It's hard believing he's all mine
And I often get scared he'll run
I cherish every single moment
I get to spend in his eyes
For I know he must be Heaven sent
... Thank you God for finally hearing my cries.
