Thank You Father
I come to you with Thanksgiving
Giving you the glory, honor and praise
Putting you on the increase and me on the decrease
Thank you Father for your grace
While I keep running the race
Thank you Father for your power
As I continue to pray for an hour
As I get nourishment from your word
Sharing with others, what I've heard
Thank you Father for changing my heart
I just want to do your will, that's my part
Thank you Father for your favor
Thank you Father for being my savior
Thank you Father, as I tell my story
Because only you, Father, can judge my history
Thank you Father for your love
As I pray to my Father above
Confessing my sins to you, I had to repent
Reflecting on the many years in darkness, I spent
Thank you Father for my life
Thank you Father for blessing me with a "Proverbs Thirty One" wife
Thank you Father for cleansing my heart
My faith and trust in you will never part
Thank you Father for dying on Calvary
In my life you're the Head, and not a rivalry
Giving you the glory, honor and praise
Because on the third day, you were raised
Thank you Father for my life
