Thank You
My credit to you, is endless
My foundation, you have built
My manner is not mine, but yours
For a mould you had taken
And shaped you had, a person that was foreign to me
Until my foot, entered your door
Another year, was not yours to claim
My tenure with you, was sadly shortened
Though my gratitude, can be no others
For in my time, your teachings were impeccable
To create my own path, I learnt
Unfortunately away, was my path's direction
One person, has earned no greater respect than the other
For although my eyes saw, difference
Through my heart, was passion felt
Each lesson overwhelmed not with dread, but joy
As those who stood representing you, whilst the masses sat
Stood not for their own accounts, but for the accounts of those seated
Growth, will my appreciation not stop
For your grounds, I may walk no more
Though in every act, my mind will reminisce
Of the times that I had been gifted, wearing your tie
Helping another, with no benefit desired
As it was one of the many qualities, you instilled in me
My depart, is not easy to accept
The label of your best student, may not be mine to own
But the honor bestowed upon me, by the allowance of my presence
Has proved nothing, but remarkable
As with pride, can I only leave
And a 'thank you', is all I can return
