Tempest of Pain
In the mists that swirl and speak your name
I'm quickly falling under.
This depth of my love's burning flame
just sends my soul asunder.
When daylight fails and I am lost
it's your dark heart I find.
If you could only feel the cost;
if you could read my mind.
You'd know the damage you have done;
the tempest of my pain.
With battles lost,no victory's won,
no pleasure left to gain.
Now you'll be on your merry way;
we never more shall meet.
The way I feel mere words can't say
as I cringe in defeat.
