Temen Ni Gru
house or playground which you choose
where demons play and scream, let loose
still holy in the eyes of some
it seems i am the only one
to climb the spiral stair around
though farther up, your going down
and though you feel secure, you fall
youre paranoia climbs the walls
your youth is fading..close your eyes.
and supple skin feels youre demise
as once strong bones begin to break
your mortal soul, its price it takes.
the only man who stayed alive
but long enough to see the sky
and taste the wondrous air again
and say to it "hello my friend."
the world below me sprawling round
in blotches formed of green and brown
i found no beauty in any of this
no love, no life, no happiness, bliss.
all i saw was filth, decay
normally i dont think that way
but i climbed down, and got my legs
i felt much better..not as dead
walking back from whence i came
i shook my head and smiled again
never did i go again
because you see my dearest friend
what is life when all is filth?
all you have is knowledge. wealth.
all is beautiful. dont you see?
all is beautiful...you, and me.
