Tell them rivers of tears are brewing Tell them seas of sorrows are drifting Tell them floods of regrets are flowing Tell them despair is welling up daily Tell them the future is apparently bleak Tell them the sowers sow in bountiful tears Tell them the reapers reap in plenteous pains Tell them that starvation lurks in the dark Tell them at the end of the dark tunnel Tell them there I see a ray of light Tell them it is not over with me yet Tell them I see a helping hand descend Tell them sorrow may tarry all night long Tell them joy awaits whoever waits till dawn.
