Tell Me There Is a Heaven

Tell Me There is a Heaven Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall have real hope. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall change my ways. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall be able to cope. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall dream of angels. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall pray every day. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall chase the Devil away. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall meet God one day. Tell me there is a Heaven, And I shall say I am now there. Gary Bateman, Copyright © All Rights Reserved March 3, 2021 (Couplet)

Heya Gary, I’d like to tell you there is a heaven, but my idea of heaven would probably be different than yours, they will have to be tailor made for the individual, as humanity is so diverse and fickle, we may all need separate heavens, to attain our distinct heavenly expectations, a fine searching couplet, cheers David

Hello David, Many Thanks for your read and review of "Tell Me There is a Heaven." I wrote this one from a rhetorical perspective in order to make a theorized statement. I do think that each of us, has his or her own interpretation of what Heaven is and might be like. A searching couplet indeed!! Thanks for your read!! Cheers, Gary
