Tell a Truth, Tell a Lie

Velvet tongue lies sweetly. Her mouth dry as a bone, Voice a sonorous tone. It stabs in quite neatly, Quieted completely. The pigeon coop has flown. Don't blame me pretty dear, A lion can't not roar, A wave will hit the shore. Your excuses feel sheer, My eyes see you in clear. Truthtelling is a chore. Ready to let me drown, Nowhere to go but down. 3/30/2021
