Such a fine future, his for the taking, as hers aligned, also in fine fitting will.. though Tehachapi waits.., still. There's no such thing as a bright future, without a silhouetted past.. climbing a mountain or a single stair, all the same.. without a foot, moving forward.. keep up, please for us, for me.. So much to learn from young women' stars.. young men too.. using Wim Hof's breathing technique... Then telstar infinately wise requsted more.. from a thousand uncharted galaxies, for two that implored open-eyed. Please find it in you, streak the skies in fashioned blaze's touch.. Tehachapi waits, and so we, so us., so I.

"There's no such thing as a bright future, without a silhouetted past.." After thinking about it, I can't agree with you there. Don't miss understand that though, as it did give me pause for a powerful thought and reflection. Sometimes a bright future can come in spite of a silhouetted past. However a bright future requires something like a flashlight. An example of that might be a work-study, on the job training, or a great mentor.

Thank you Miranda, truly. I really struggled to put down those words. I could've left some wiggle room such as 'maybe there's no such thing'. But I decided to go with a steadfast opinion; one I don't necessarily hold. So thanks for calling me on my little white lie. Happy Thanksgiving wishes for you and all of your family Miranda. -Richard

Hi Gershon, It's almost Thanksgiving, even in the arid highlands of Tehachapi. Small miracles and great ones may yet prevail. -Richard

This is such cool poetry. I guess I am not up on all the terms, but I enjoyed all the parts I understood.

Hi Andrea, This poem is sort of a tribute to the Dutch Iceman, Wim Hof. He once held the record for swimming under ice and prolonged full-body contact with ice according to Guinness. I found him on Tedx teaching people how to train their immunal response. https://youtu.be/zE9FfvPyPZg -Richard
