Teenage Years

Making new friends, get rid of the old Continuously changing, no time to grow mold Helping them through can be difficult at best Forever c comparing themselves to the rest Learning to be who they are on their own Wondering where they will be when their grown Riding a roller coaster of emotions so raw Thinking about the card they will draw Love them the best that you know how For they will never be the same as they are now Helping them now and then letting them go Supporting them with all the wisdom you know Teenage years are the worst of all to get through People can be very cruel in all that they do A parent is there to help them get by For when they leave the nest, it’ll be your turn to cry.
