Tears of Willow

Ramifying willow sheds tears color of moon’s light To the eye this serene seen is delight Yet it makes for somewhat sad sight Makes one wonder with what demons does willow have to fight Once when wind blew through its boughs willow her power would increase All paradoxes limiting intelligence would cease Her soul could be in peace And the surreal, life defining beauty of magnified cells she could release But now she stands alone and forgotten and her once glorious soul Is slowly turning to be black as coal She loses her subtle leaves in endless fall Only occasional April love can replenish her at all Maybe one day she will get back to unspecified indefinite base Back to heavenly place Her soul free to wonder space Or the glory of her spirits’ birthplace
