Tears From a Peace Sign
My eyes now sadly laden and with pain
They see man's wars upon this Earth and cry
These tears not heard are flowing now in vain
No one hears as I ask the question, Why?
I've asked a reason all my days of breath
From tops of mountains to the valley stream
While children suffer from life's peace request
For all mankind it's been a chasing dream
To find a peaceful world's flowing fountain
And everyone will drink with empty hands
Search for peace signs on the farthest mountain
While dreams disperse and wash away like sand
As many weary travelers take a stand
They cry out to all, don't you understand!
