Tears

Tears what are those? For me they never came the belt buckle saw to that, yet here on soup poets write of tears, those of sorrow those of happiness, but are these only manifestations of poetry. The imagery of a fragment of an imagination. Oh boy! Have I never lived? a tear I need to be human this tear I fear... the most! A Brian Strand Premiere Choice contest 5/7/2022

Hi back to this one, the tear that comes from pure love or emotion is a very meaningful one, as one not easy to tears I find those unexpected ones very powerful, they mean such a lot and you need them to be human the last 4 lines of this are so so true. Just love it xx

Awesome poetry here Harry. Thank you so much for always being such a support on my stuff. This poem is awesome. Some often welcome tears. Others--not so much I suppose. Keep up the great work. :) Always, Laura

Great poem Harry. Ther is nothing to fear, but fear it's self. Most men are tought since they are little that men are not suppose to cry. That is wrong. It does not make you less of a man if you cry. It shows that you have feelings and it also cleans your soul. Don't worry about what people think. Worry about how you feel. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

Harry, i think I get this because I rarely write teary poems. I have maybe just a few such as "the good cry" but I am not someone who cries a lot. Maybe many of my poems are even seen as not very emotional. we are all of us different. I just happen to be more "head" than "soft heart" It's all good!!! I find the ending of your poem to be full of emotion!

No let's hope you only experience tears of joy. I remember the belt too my friend and the whipping sound it made as it was yanked out of those loops!
