Tear Drops

Putting down the sword of truth falling from dark clouds true blue feelings you draw from ocean deep curling waves warmly galloping summer wind warm and moist that love glance that moment Emotions floating softly quiet upon whispering silent winds kissing golden sands majestic wet freshly salted teardrops washing your feet with love fulfilling your heart’s wishes Most beautiful I adore you in the name of your beauty always means forever sure sweetly in the end I know gazing in your eyes deeply touching your moist lips Love you liberate me freely if only one could see this soul crystals crashing to the ground rising to the occasion with love cherishing every moment fully never saying goodbye only hello How precious shining a true treasure touching gossamer wing longing brush wishing in an everlasting memory pure hoping always for the best no less making life happen passion always showing no fear ever no matter Memories of a love so true wishing a life together forever embracing each other so warmly caressing and kissing openly seeking fate and following destiny crying teardrops openly and true Gary Bateman and Liam McDaid – A Collaborated Poem, October 20, 2014 (Free Verse)

"curling waves warmly galloping" < it's lines like these that keep me coming back. Rolls right off the tongue... and plus it reminds me of that scene from The Fellowship of the Ring. Where the waves made out of horses wash over the Ring Wraiths (pardon my nerdiness.. ha ha).

Liam, Although I co-wrote this one with you, I just wanted you to know that I really enjoyed this effort along with several of the others we worked on together recently. (For Jim Horn's note below, "gossamer" is a word that can be used as a noun or adjective and has a number of meanings. In this instance, it refers poetically to a "wing" that is quite light and thin, and with this image the vision of a "light touch." This is actually a quite dynamic image.)
