Teach Me How To Dance
You said, “You and Me” is true and polite way
“You” must come first before the word “Me”,
“Do YOU love ME? ” I asked sincerely
You answered, ”****, yes Hon, I really do love you, badly! ”
Looking for a tuxedo, you asked me if it fits you
I said I like the way you first dressed, the first time I admired you.
I liked the way you gentlemanly dressed
You smiled devilishly, I am impressed,
And that suit revealed best fit on your chest!
I like most to wear my best bare back gown
Cling to your arm, dance with the music’s sublime.
Yet you said, “Teach me how to dance, Hon, I have never known.”
“Let your heart teach you; it will make you step on time.
And you’ll see…you can bring me to a dance only our hearts can rhyme! ”
“But I will step on your feet…” you uttered in sorry
Hmn… You know you can’t harm my feet, I have no worry,
Our hearts will guide us to a dance we have never imagined
You and I, I and you… dance in rhythm… ’till US is through…
Let’s dance.
