Tattoo Angel

Tattoo Angel Drowning in his loneliness he tried most every angle. Finally he prayed to God and asked Him send an angel. “Someone to be faithful who will not break my heart. Someone that will stand by me when life falls all apart.” Then came a knock on his hearts door he saw Gods angel standing there. She had a scar across her cheek and tattoos everywhere. Her clothes were torn and dirty from a life lived on the street. You never know what you might see where hell and angels meet. He told her his story and about the prayer he prayed. She listened as he spoke to her then she didn't leave, she stayed. That was twenty years ago and they've been through a lot. Never once has he complained about the angel that he got. No matter where it is they go you see their love light there. The man who loved the angel with the tattoos everywhere. Edwin C Hofert

I appreciate your poem. Beauty is never about how we decorate ourselves on the outside, whether with a tattoo or with the clothes we wear. Beauty comes from the love inside. Thanks for the great verse.

I didn't mean to write so many reviews. I kept going to the end of the list to see if the review came up and didn't see it so wrote another one! Oops!

Like the others say, this is great. Beauty is so much more than what we wear or what we decorate our skin with!
