Tattered
Tattered and torn a jaded mess
Who could have done this I won't confess
Chipped and broken and worn away
Glue and paint for another day
The barns on fire I smell the smoke
Who could have done this? It's not a joke!
Horses and cattle chickens and swine
Let them all out they know they are mine
Tattered and torn a jaded mess
Who could have done this I won't confess
The flames are spreading the crops are next
Please God save our farm from this fiery mess
Water and sand what ever will work
Spread it and throw it hose it down good
Tattered and torn a jaded mess
Who could have done this I won't confess
Grandma? Where's grandma? I don't have a clue
Too much smoke and fire eyes burning what do I do?
Gods' answered my prayers the rains coming down
Now I see grandma safe and sound
Tattered and torn a jaded mess
Who could have done this I won't confess.
