Taste of Grit

You think that you can see the lines encasing Our past exploits from when you called my name? Well, here we still remain; forever chasing When I consent to play your charming game. Perhaps it is a test of my devotion? I'd journey far beyond those urban streets If only I could set those gears in motion With you; although the sunlight now depletes. I do not fear the air that fills my lungs; The cold that carries your sweet fallacy. I long for creamy nights and writhing tongues For last time, summer never set me free. But let me see the glisten of your spit. Leave me to contemplate the taste of grit.
