Tasha Marie
Tasha Marie
She came into the world thru love
Blond hair, blue eyed from heaven above
In my sister she grew and changed
Settling wild child down, replacing her pain
Only nine months old, full sentences pronounced
Bright. happy, inquisitive, full of baby bounce
Pride for her mom, joy for her gramma
I missed out busy w my own~ gosh dammit!
She grew old and wise in a family of drought
Saw thru delusions, staying real w/o doubt
Struggling w herself w so little left to give
A young lady fighting to find her reason to live
Hard working, responsible, by 20 a boss
But within her struggle, all that a loss
She kept plodding on, kept learning and growing
Never really taught that surrounded by those not knowing
She was the bestest big sister one could ever dream
An even greater cousin to one in need
So many close and near, she was still alone
Then came the sun, she finally found her home
Home was a kind, loving man named Voss
He dried her years of pain, shook away her loss
She took his arm when he asked for her hand forever more
Just found out they'll be three soon, by life's end~ a family of four.
Written for Tasha Marie as requested... In under a half hour. Another promised soon.
Love, Aunt Bambi
