Taking Me Miles Away
TAKING ME MILES AWAY
every time i walk upon the broken spines
of fallen ones everyone looks upon
the skies awaiting for the holy one
And everyday is blue as a jay with a
broken egg within her nest and everyday
all i ever receive is a broken heart
and when you come i shall take the bite
of a wrong heart
And it's taken me so far so long into
the space between time and fractured
minds.
Every little kiss
every big smallness
every little tear
every little doubt
every little lie
leaves me with a broken heart
so I'm killing every little
single moment of my life
into little pieces so all i get
is a heart i shall never know.
