Taken Young, Taken Pure

Round and round, they spun her around Bound her hands, and tied her down Clasped her mouth, with soul crushing force Screamed for her life but nothing came out, not even one word No one hears her hollow sobs No one sees the fear she saw Silenced forever at the end of a blade Bloodstained in sorrow, the cause of her pain Purity and innocent breath, the price she had paid In the wrong place, at the wrong time Another free spirit, snuffed out by fate Taken too young Taken so pure Taken by chance Taken through hell She sways back and forth, peacefully as she strides Making not a sound, walking slowly down the golden path To where the holy light shines Every single step, brings her closer To her heavenly home Where she will rest her soul forever Undisturbed She is home
