Take Under Your Arm

TAKE The opportunity when you see a need To help out your fellow man When noticing someone in great distress Reach out with a helping hand UNDER The adage of humanitarian good deeds Advantages are too many to list For you, a feeling of great satisfaction To the needy a welcome gift YOUR Mind surmises if the roles were reversed How grateful you'd surely feel Wondering how you would return the favour For helping with your great ordeal ARM In arm you go forward to the future Remembering why you became friends Feeling a sense of contentment and satisfaction Realizing you'll be friends to the end ©Jack Ellison 2012

I can tell that under that gruff exterior... Papa has calmed down a lot and is grateful I was there... With time he'll lighten up a lot more... Friends are like family... We take them under our wings and we fly away... Family are like friends, too...We brought in my son's best friend to live with us a few years ago.(And his two dogs). He's a treasure. We say we adopted him... we did in our hearts...
