Take It All Away, Take It All the Way

Take it all away — These thoughts of suicide today Tonight, I’m having them big time, it’s a terrible crime It’s not at all sublime…maybe, I can wait some time… Remember me When I was young and foolish Remember me When I was in the waters of anguish Take it all away, Take it all the way I pray you save me from desparity Take it all away, Take it all the way I am in dismay in the sea of calamity Take it all away, Take it all the way Happiness is just a teardrop away from reaching out to hold you, to embrace you Take it all away, Take it all the way Sadness will no longer be your tune of loneliness and you’ll no longer be blue Get out of here, hatred Don’t give me any trace of dread Daily defeated by depression and anxiety, it won’t set me free It won’t set me free from despondency…I will conquer it all away, you’ll see… Remember me When I was young and foolish Remember me When I was in the waters of anguish Take it all away, Take it all the way I pray you save me from desparity Take it all away, Take it all the way I am in dismay in the sea of calamity Take it all away, Take it all the way Happiness is just a teardrop away from reaching out to hold you, to embrace you Take it all away, Take it all the way Sadness will no longer be your tune of loneliness and you’ll no longer be blue Take it all away, Distress and darkness, coming my way Take it all the way I pray you’ll take me away from disarray Say you’ll stay with me Say you’ll be my liberty Say you’ll pray for me To be set free from my misery… When I was in the waters of anguish Take it all away, Take it all the way Remember me When I was young and foolish Take it all the way, Take it all away Remember me When I was swimming in the sea, single and lonely like a minuscule fish Reduced to dismay, Wishing you were here today Take it all the way…take it all away.. The anguish and turmoil of yesterday
