Symphonies of Light

When all alone in the dark, look up into the night sky. And marvel at creation's incalculable vastness. Heaven's celestial canvas instills pure exaltation. And you dare not breathe, or talk, as rapture pools in your soul. Twinkling stars confetti night in precious sparkling jewels. And quasars and pulsars spin, in a whirling dervish dance. Planets hold gravity's hand, synchronized in perfect stride. And boundless balanced forces cause the galaxies to swirl. A glimpse of divinity lies in cosmic harmony. For who but God; can conduct symphonies of light and time? (Blank Verse) 8/24/2015

This is awesome Emile! I'm making it a favorite..Love how you brought God into it and the metaphors are beautiful and heartfelt. My favorite for the contest. Congratulations Emile on this exceptional piece of literature. This is one of my top 10 poems ever. Wow! I have read it six times and the feelings repeat themselves in my soul. I can relate to this as I have spent many nights looking up at the sky.

Dear Emile, a poem so adorably penned giving a spectacular picture of creation's canvas of celestial wonders....the quasars and pulsars...took me on a ride to space and beyond ...beautiful imagery....loved it,.....love, Anu:-) a 7!!!!
