Swinging Into the Summer Night

The moonlight has bestowed, it's company. The cool wind blows, the heat away. A starry night view of the galaxy, while the porch swing, begins to sway. Chirping of the crickets, playing in harmony. Dragonflies light up, while up, in flight. Forgetting life's dilemmas and atrocities, while consuming such a splendid delight. Sharing this splendor with whom you love. Beside you quietly listening and trying to see. Holding are you in each others arms, of which, you passionately, and truthfully be. A shame, for the moment, to suddenly end, during the lowering of the distance moon. If only time could stay a bit longer, than most, for time, seems to have gone, far to soon.
