Swimming
the knife
slicing through
leaving
no wound
paddling
pushing
pulling
in rhythm
and tune
unrelenting
smooth
steady
strokes
pounding
kicks
hard
fast
roiling
boiling
churning
yearning
shooting high
floating
flailing
freely
back
into itself
again
and
again
and...
