Sweet Songs
As winter's fury begins to fade
Spring's fragrant breeze is on the way
Blowing gently o'er glen and glade
Pretty painted butterflies will soon be on display
While cherry trees begin to bloom
Spring's fragrant breeze is on the way
Gone are the dark and dismal skies of gloom
Replaced by sunny skies of blue
While cherry trees begin to bloom
Tender thoughts of love are breaking through
Gray clouds have disappeared
Replaced by sunny skies of blue
The sweet smell of spring is in the air
Inviting birds to sing sweet songs
Gray clouds have disappeared
Creatures now come out in throngs
As winter's fury begins to fade
Inviting birds to sing sweet songs
Blowing gently o'er glen and glade
