Sweet Silence
Silence in the most thickest of fogs with the
grace of a fine mist caressing the body,
awakening the imagination of a broken man.
Thoughts too intelligent to grasp lingering close to
the edge of insanity are born within this
absolute silence.
Ensnared within myself, me, my best friend
with conversation so profoundly intense,
lies the truth to my intensions of this
life as I know it.
Consumed within this noiseless air lies a
security of a mothers touch that acts as
a shelter from the impurities this world
bestowed upon me.
What a perfect purgatory created within this
beautiful silence that is needed when life’s
twisted fates render me ill to that deafening
noise called reality.
