Sweet Rest
Standing on the shores of life
Looking to our God
Praising His Holy Precious name
asking wisdom in life’s fog
Oh Savior Lord my Dearest friend
Stay close to our side
Give me words to tell the world
Of the mercy you provide
Sing oh sing sweet angels above
Let all earth and nature hear
Praises to our mighty God and King
Wiping away all fear
Lord you could raise your hands above
This world where we reside
And wipe away all demons power
Destroy it where it hides
We wait on you today dear Lord
Guide the path we go
Your sweet will our only hope
Your plan we pray you’ll show
Hold my hand each day my Lord
For I fail you on my own
Talk to me and use my life
Let your love be known
Let me go to bed at night
Knowing I tried my best
Forgive me of my failures Lord
With you there is sweet rest
