Sweet Mother Earth
My sweet mother earth
I've loved you all of my life
Your warm summer breath
Gently touching my skin
The feel of your chilly winter embrace
The springtime tears of joy
You cry running down my face
The perfume that you wear in autumn
Takes me back to childhood play
Oh my sweet mother earth
How I want to hug you
How I love to love you
How I wish others would
Treat you right
You give us you're all
We give nothing in return
When will people wake up
When will people learn you
Are all we have there is no
Other home
So sweet Mother Earth I exalt you
In tome I speak of your tenderness
Written in poem
Oh sweet mother earth I've
Loved you all of my life
My heart aches that others
Do not treat you right
