Sweet Elation

The silence is deafening within the shadows of my heart Amongst waves of whispered emotions from the start Constantly awaiting confirmation, yes that I resisted Unfamiliarity of a life without you has me twisted My surroundings are unrecognizable now in the mist My thoughts are reaching out for the one I have missed The brief moments still linger upon my soft warm lips Fluttering of my heart beat where your memory has eclipsed Words don’t understand this feeling I hold deep inside Hurts like what in life every goodbye held implied If tears were flowers I’d have a garden to walk within A voice silenced no longer tells where you have been My life spent without you now holds no kind of inspiration Days are no longer bright they’ve lost all sweet elation
11/21/2020 Dedicated to my bro bro Winged warrior

Aw, sissy, you bring tears to my eyes with this poem, the loss of our wonderful, uplifting, and ever humorous, bro bro, is represented with such deep, rich longing and sadness. "If tears were flowers I’d have / a garden to walk within" - your pain is expressed with mournful poetic beauty, dear Bren. Your gifted emotional pen captured his essence. He was inspiration, he was elation, he was poetry, he was all that is good of the heart and soul, he was our lovable bro bro, and he will never be forgotten. A fav.. He will forever be missed. Warmest wishes and hugs as I share in your sadness, dear sissy.. your sane sis <3

Oh dear sissy, the Unicorns just cry into their feed buckets and stamp their little hooves, even though I tell them that he’s still here with us up in the treehouse mansion. He will always be here with you and I, dear lil puff whom he adored, and the Uni’s. Bro bro wouldn’t want Dragon Fire or Illuminatra to lose their fire or light and though our hearts are broken we must go forward and blaze a new trail, for bro bro, cuz that is what he’d want us to do.. He’s with us in our hearts and pens..

Beautiful tribute, Brenda. I really admired WW's poetic genius. He was a rare bird, whose flight labors are finished ... he is at rest. Such a gorgeously crafted poem, my talented friend. Stay safe, and have a nice holiday. Love and more love always.
