Sweet Dreams Part 2
Tell me I'm dreaming
I've been waiting all day
I know works important
But I need to get away
I follow his footsteps
Along that bright stream
When all of a sudden
There was a scream
I plunge into the thicket
Not knowing what's ahead
I shortly spotted
A spider and her thread
"I'll weave you a hammock
you look very tired, dear."
"If I lay to rest," I said,
"I'll be dead soon I fear."
I ask her who screamed
She pointed to the north
I bowed and said thank you
And then I bursted forth
This scream was different
Not something too weird
Maybe I'm too late
Something else I feared
I came to a mountain
A mountain made of clouds
I climbed up a little bit and
I met women in shrouds
They dropped bones on rocks
They quietly did chant
"Tell me, young boy
Would you try this plant?"
I inhaled the vapors
They stung my lungs
All of the witches giggled
And stuck out their tongues
I wandered around them
In a confusing haze
Suddenly I felt
Penetrated by a gaze
One witch did stare at me
Never looking away
I went to speak to her but
All faded to grey
I fell from my dream
The sun fell on my face
I'll head back another time
To that enchanted place
