Sweaty Handshake

sweaty palms, lead to a brisk handshake. averted eyes. awkwardness. the epitome of adolesence. young boys and girls pretending to be grown up. masquerading in ties and lipstick. leaving numbers on napkins, half-smiles, and shared taxis. it starts with a handshake. quick brisk sweaty. false. like everything to come.
