Surely

This is a long tightrope journey for me But I'll walk this cable till my feet start to bleed And scarlet leaves it mark beneath me Warning others on the path to take heed SUrely it cannot drain all of me Surely there must be and end All cables run out of length So stop the bullshit, lets not pretend This is a hard climb for me But I'll pull myself up till I fall Until my grasp no longer can hold I'll leave a warning written on that wall Surely their is a top Walls arent built that high Surely I am close to the goal Stop shaking your head, no need to sigh This is alot of distance to swim But I'll tread water till I drown Surely a passing boat will come Surely I wont be let down Surely I'll float into a bouy And I'll cling as long as I am able I'll be plucked up from the waves DOn't laugh at me, my cards are on the table This is a hard battle for me But I'll fight until the last breath I take I have a fighting chance here Theres alot more yet to take Surely the battle wont last forever Surely one side will withdrawl Surely I'll be victorious Stop trying to convince me I'll fall This is alot of courage for me Usually I turn around and run far away BUt i've kept one foot in front of the other Pushing onward every day Surely I've not far left to go Surely you'll u nderstand, surely you will see I'm not just fighting for myself here But for the man who means everything to me
