Suppose

Suppose we could all know-- know the the truth of all, the reality behind the cunning semblances. We'd no longer be fooled by delusions, by our egos, led astray by our fears, tricked by false promises and cheap desires. We would become like knowing gods, all discerning, careful to avoid the myriad traps humans so easily fall into: the pits of ignorance, the the tombs of denial-- death is the price of that! Yet all the wisdom of God and the Universe would still not sate us if, as the Man said, we have not love....
