Suppose
Suppose we could all know--
know the the truth of all,
the reality behind the
cunning semblances.
We'd no longer be fooled
by delusions, by our egos,
led astray by our fears,
tricked by false promises
and cheap desires.
We would become like
knowing gods, all
discerning, careful to
avoid the myriad traps
humans so easily fall into:
the pits of ignorance,
the the tombs of denial--
death is the price of that!
Yet all the wisdom of God
and the Universe would still
not sate us if, as the Man
said, we have not love....
