Supplication

One morn I went to a Temple My Lord God to pray, I rang and rang the hanging bell Our world to be happy and gay! To a Mosque I went one day, Sat and prayed 'fore my Master: In our hearts ever stay And make us all human better! Once I went to a Church too With God in close touch to feel, I prayed with a heart true For all the poor a daily meal! And today a Gurudwara I visited To worship my holy God, Joining my palms I humbly prayed To cast evil 'th His divine rod!
