Supernova
A light from another system
Sits effortlessly in the world
The light which emits much joy
That which burns like a torch
In those savvy
The light lifts luminously
Those with even a passing glance
And even more so
If one can have the chance
Even one night
In the city of lights
Beside the bright light
Affects those touched, forever
I know the light
I spent time with the light
It shone in me
Relit my sorry wick
Which was snuffed in a manner most cold
What can I say about a light
That is, was, and will forever
be burning in me
As long as I can shine
She will shine as a heavenly orb
In my heart of hearts
Even though I must part
I will not wear a sullen heart
For I spent one and many eternal nights
With the light that shines so bright
