Pebbles tossed,
ripples blue, purple, tangerine
one blur of movement
and stillness
soundless
Sadness in heart's implosion
I pluck cotton clouds
from a sky that weeps
colored candy
Evening drapes
slowly close over a mourning sea
brightness drowns
sings a lullaby
to a lonely wave
