I watched the gloaming break in silent peace Dark purple change to pink before my eyes The bottoms of the clouds turned bright cerise Which bled into the lake before sunrise Then suddenly all wrapped in golden fleece The morning sun joined in his masterpiece January 23 2017 by Daniel Turner

Lovely poem. I loved the line 'wrapped in golden fleece'. I'm at the age I rarely see a sunrise, bit living near the beach I see glorious sunsets, wrapped in golden fleece. Blessings, Vivien
