Sunny Days of Autumn
Awesome days
with chrysanthemum lined landscapes,
hued in sunset golden orange sky with
yellow shades, deep reds, purples, white
spilling into every shade in dimpled pink
rainbow smiles.
Leaves are sparse these first days...
No raking need we do;
surely not enough for kicking or frolicking
in sweet toned laughter...
Yet, these sunny days of autumn I'll
not soon forget.
