Sunflowers
Sunflowers
Sunlight dwelling
Lemon table clothe of cotton
Rising out from its golden urn
With colors so fluid they turn
The eye of the viewer
Citrus orange the color of marigolds
Hang sweetly from where they gleam so bold
Sunflower a symbol of sun and religion in the past
Their tall stalks cut from the garden placed in a glass
Here his brush stroked an impression so vivid and true
From the freshness of its beginning
To its bittersweet wilted end we view
Inspired by Vincent W. Van Gogh
