Sunday's Sermon
To use one’s hand to touch a heart
Is to caress one’s inner being
To let them know that you are there
That kindness is never fleeing.
To sing a song, deaf ears can hear
To prepare the food for others to taste
To provide them warmth on bitter days
To allow, not time to waste.
To do these things, not seek reward
Your reward’s found in the giving
Waste not your time and grieve a loss
But focus on the living
It’s now that we all need your touch
Of our lives, please be a part
Reach out your hands to one another
And learn to touch a heart.
