Sunday Morn, Letter To My Pastor

Dear Pastor I now recall what I attempted to say to you on yesterday but forgot. Being that you just turned 55, and by your own admission, do not qualify for the Seniors Group at our church, you probably do not understand 'forgetfulness'. Anyway, it was when Jacob was speaking on the video birthday clip, and also when Pastor Andre was preaching yesterday that I said to myself that I must share with Pastor Mark what I said to myself. **************************************************************Of Jacob, I said to myself and to him after the service: Over the last 3 to 5 years, would to God that more young men had commited and submitted themselves to the tutoring of Pastor Mark as you have so humbly done. ************************************************************** Pastor Mark, I am confident that Jacob will go places of God's bidding and do things to God's Glory because he has sat under and submitted himself to be fitted for the Master's use with a strong foundation. ************************************************************** Of Pastor Andre I said to myself: What a treasure we have in a worship leader who also is very capable at ministering the word of the Lord. I further thought, what a gold mine of wisdom and insight that God has granted you to surround yourself with such treasures in earthen vessels. Pastor, I must say that 26 years at New Life under your pastorate is the longest stay that I have spent anywhere in my entire life, and I do not wonder why as I close with these watery eyes. 08122019cjPoSoup
