Sun To the Rescue

Whomp…another clump of ice cycles, lands on the patio. It’s good to see brother sun; he is tired of the cold. His fiery temper quickly melts away, old Jack Frosts icy rage.

The winter is finally coming to an end in New York City and as you well put there is an end to the "icy rage". There is a lot of sports poetry - about baseball, track, football and yes, boxing. I volunteer 3 days a week at Poets House which is a 60,000 volume library of poetry. There is plenty of sports poetry there, Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I love it when the Sun rescues so many situations, and the melting of the icicles and snows is normally a lovely sign that Spring has arrived. Lovely poem MLK, hugs, James :)
