Summertime Madness

It’s summertime again and Lo! Damp and humid, here they go A swarm of bees will be here no! Now that’s a Dirty Dinky The yellow sun blinds and burns The fool is naked, no concerns Pale skin a nice red throbs and churns Ain’t that a Dirty Dinky? I’ve come to drink your warm, sweet blood I’m thirsty in this sweltering mud Be good and still for tis not fraud It’s just a Dirty Dinky!

A curious tale indeed, is this reference to Theodore Roethke ?, However, I really enjoyed reading your lovely flowing story, regards, Kevin
