Summers End
One more summer melts away
It's back to school and no more play
But holidays are on their way
It brings, a certain cheer
Maybe there, in school I'll find
A pretty girl, I can call mine
Though it's cold, our love will shine
It's my future, I don't fear
Although the leaves are falling fast
And summers fun, fades in the past
There's one thing, I have to ask
Why don't good thing ever last
With new teachers and new classes
Cool night air, as summer passes
Now raking leaves, no cutting grasses
I just love this time of year
