Summer Nights Musings

Stuck in this repeating day It feels just like a broken record Everyday is the same thing Over and over, again Go to sleep at the early hours of the morning Wake up a few hours later, when the sun rises Get up and get dressed Then make some coffee Do some meaningless tasks And then it’s back to bed It just keeps repeating Somedays a slight change might happen Like having to watch the niece and nephew But then it almost always goes back to repeating As soon as they leave The only solace is that it will end soon

OH, a vicious stab at the end of the monotony of life. But we could always add to the end of the last line the rider.....OR NOT!
