Summer Is Gone
We gather around to bid adieu
To the fluttering colors of the butterfly
We wave goodbye to the birds too
While summer prepares to die
The flowers are also fading away
And the sun shortens his stay
We know that summer will soon be dead
We dread the bleak winter days ahead
The easy days of summer will soon end
A season that we considered a friend
Now we can't help but weep
As summer takes a long sleep
On the coldest of winter days
We will miss its warm embrace
When skies are bleak and gray
We will pine for its sunny face
